Migros aims to sell the Hotelplan Group as a whole

Ideally, Migros wants to sell the Hotelplan Group in one piece. However, Migros Head of Retail Michel Gruber did not rule out a partial sale, as he said at a media event on Friday (today).
Although Migros founder Gottlieb Duttweiler himself founded the company almost 100 years ago, today's Hotelplan no longer has much to do with the original vision, Gruber continued. "Today, it's no longer about transporting as many travelers as possible to Ticino on trains in order to fill the hotels there," he said.
Instead, the hotel plan group has now grown into an internationally oriented travel company. There is therefore no longer much of "Dutti" in the company, Gruber continued.
