Missing Mushroom Picker Found Dead in Graubünden

A search team found an Italian mushroom picker, who had been missing since Sunday, dead in Miralago GR on Monday morning. According to the police, the 50-year-old man had slipped while picking mushrooms and fallen down a steep slope into a stream. His wife had contacted the police in the late afternoon when she was unable to reach him. Around 30 people, as well as Rega and terrain search dogs, took part in the search operation, which had to be suspended for safety reasons shortly before 3am. The team resumed the search in the morning and found the Italian dead in the Camp Martin area of the Crodalöc stream shortly after 9am.
