National Council committee wants tougher stance on Eritrea

وعلى غرار مجلس الولايات، تود لجنة المجلس الوطني المسؤولة أيضاً إعادة الإريتريين المرفوضين إلى بلد ثالث واتخاذ موقف أكثر صرامة من طالبي اللجوء العنيفين. وقد أوصت بأن يعتمد مجلسها الاقتراحات ذات الصلة.
Rejected Eritrean asylum seekers cannot currently be deported as the authorities in Eritrea categorically refuse to forcibly return their citizens. The National Council's Political Institutions Committee (SPK-N) considers this situation to be unacceptable, as reported by the parliamentary services on Friday.
As there is still no sign of a migration partnership or readmission agreement being concluded with Eritrea, the pressure must be increased. "Everything must be done to at least take a step in the right direction".
Deportation to a third country
Specifically, the SPK-N recommended the motion by FDP member of the Council of States Petra Gössi (SZ) be adopted by 14 votes to 11. According to the motion, rejected Eritrean asylum seekers should have to leave Switzerland for a third country. The National Council had rejected a similar motion in December.
Gössi's motion calls on the Federal Council to conclude a transit agreement with a suitable third country. The model should be an agreement that was signed by the then Minister of Justice Ruth Metzler in Senegal in 2003, but never came into force afterwards.

Stricter rules for violent offenders
وعلى غرار مجلس الولايات، ترغب لجنة المجلس الوطني المسؤولة أيضا في اتخاذ إجراءات أكثر صرامة ضد الإريتريين الذين يدعمون بعنف النظام الذي يُزعم أنهم فروا منه. وقد اعتُمد اقتراح مماثل قدمه عضو مجلس الولايات عن الحزب الديمقراطي الحر أندريا كاروني (AR) في المجلس الوطني بأغلبية 12 صوتًا مقابل 10 أصوات.
Recently, however, there has been an increase in violent demonstrations that glorify the Eritrean dictator and pose a threat to the public safety and order of the population, the petitioner argues. The Federal Council, on the other hand, is of the opinion that the legal means to take action against such individuals already exist.
ويقترح الحزب الاشتراكي الكوري الشمالي أيضا اعتماد اقتراحين آخرين بشأن إريتريا وافق عليهما مجلس الولايات. وينبغي لأمانة الدولة للهجرة أن ترسل ممثلاً لقضايا الهجرة إلى هذه المنطقة من أجل إحراز تقدم سياسي. كما ينبغي للمجلس الاتحادي أن يبرم شراكات جديدة في مجال الهجرة.
