No Seat Shifts Expected in Basel-Landschaft

According to the Baselbiet National Council election projections from the gfs Bern Communication Research Institute on behalf of SRG, the seven current seat holders are expected to remain in office, despite the Green Party losing a significant amount of votes. This would mean that the SVP and SP would remain at two seats each, despite the SVP gaining 4.5% of the vote and the SP gaining 2.7%. The parties FDP, Mitte and Grüne would remain at one seat each. The Greens are projected to have lost 8.1% of the vote, almost halving their share from 2019, while the FDP is projected to have lost 2.9% and the Mitte 1.5%.
