One dead after collision between two skiers in Crans-Montana VS

A man was killed in a collision between two skiers in Crans-Montana VS on Thursday. All help came too late for the victim.
The collision occurred at around 1.30 pm on the "Piste Chemin des Jeep", as reported by the Valais cantonal police on Friday. Despite resuscitation attempts by the slope patrol and later by the helicopter rescue team on site, one of those involved died at the scene of the accident.
Formal identification of the deceased is still ongoing. The public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation in collaboration with the cantonal police to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
