Perpetrators flee after robbery at jewelry store in Sion

In Sion in Valais, an unknown perpetrator robbed a jewelry store on Wednesday afternoon. He fled without any loot.
The person pulled out a handgun in the jewelry store in the city center to get at the valuables, according to the Valais cantonal police. The perpetrator fled without the stolen goods after the staff and the manager of the store successfully resisted.
According to the police, no one was injured. The Central Valais public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation.
