Play Suisse has over one million users

Play Suisse, SRG's streaming platform, has over one million subscribers around three and a half years after its launch. This makes Play Suisse the most used streaming platform in Switzerland after Netflix.
Play Suisse has established itself as a medium that can bring Swiss people from all regions together, SRG wrote in a press release on Wednesday. The platform's success is mainly due to popular series such as "Tschugger" or "Wilder", films such as "Mein Leben als Zucchini" or "Alter Ego" and concert recordings such as those from the Montreux Jazz Festival.
On Play Suisse, subscribers can stream Swiss film classics, documentaries and series free of charge. All content is available in the original language with subtitles in German, French, Italian and, in some cases, Romansh. According to SRG, the service is primarily consumed on television.
