Police arrest 38-year-old after killing in Maur ZH

The Zurich cantonal police have arrested a suspect following the death of a 71-year-old man in Maur ZH. The 38-year-old and the victim knew each other, as the police announced on Monday.
The 71-year-old was found at midday on Saturday at the entrance to a house just outside the village. The investigation always focused on a criminal offense.
The 38-year-old was arrested on Saturday. On Monday, the public prosecutor's office requested that the suspect be remanded in custody. The exact circumstances of the crime are still being investigated by the cantonal police and the public prosecutor's office.
