Following the sit-in blockade at ETH Zurich on Tuesday, the Zurich city police checked, expelled and reported a total of 28 people: 13 women and 15 men aged between 17 and 78.

Twenty-three people were Swiss nationals. Two people from Germany and one each from Italy, France and Luxembourg were also checked. The city police evaluated the list of suspects on Wednesday at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency.

It is not known whether any ETH students were among those expelled. Neither the police nor the university have any information on this.

On Tuesday, a group of around 100 people held an unauthorized demonstration for Palestine in the ETH main hall. The ETH then filed a criminal complaint for trespassing. Some of the protesters left the hall voluntarily, 28 people had to be turned away by the police and some had to be carried away.

According to an Instagram entry, the "sit-in" was carried out by a group called "Students for Palestine (Zurich)".
