Power Relations Remain Almost the Same in the Canton of Bern

In the canton of Bern, the SVP has gained a seat in the bourgeois camp at the expense of the FDP. In the left camp, the Greens lost a seat and the SP gained one. This only slightly changes the balance of power between left and right. The SVP has achieved a voter share of 29.3%, gaining a seat and remaining the strongest force in the canton. The SP has also gained a seat, with 19.8% of the votes. The Greens have lost a seat, with 9% of the votes. The GLP has remained on par with the Greens, with 7.9% of the votes. The Mitte Kanton Bern has also kept its two seats, with 6.2% of the votes. The FDP has lost a seat, with 7.2% of the votes. The EVP and EDU will remain with one seat each. In summary, the SVP has gained a seat in the canton of Bern, while the FDP has lost one. The SP and the GLP have both gained a seat, while the Greens have lost one. The Mitte Kanton Bern and the EVP/EDU have both kept their seats.
