Remo Forrer is the most googled Swiss of 2023

The technology company Google published its 2023 Year in Review on Monday. It shows which topics were of particular interest to people in Switzerland. Singer Remo Forrer, Credit Suisse and ChatGPT were very popular.
With nine lists, the Google Year in Review shows which topics have seen the greatest growth in search queries over the last twelve months.
The headlines were dominated by the ChatGPT AI software, Credit Suisse shares and the war in Israel and Gaza, according to the press release. The most wanted Swiss personalities were Eurovision Song Contest participant Remo Forrer, football goalkeeper Yann Sommer and tennis player Stan Wawrinka.
According to Google, the Swiss were interested in French comedian Pierre Palmade, Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann and influencer Andrew Tate. The most frequently asked questions included "What is ChatGPT?", "How many museums are there in Switzerland?", "What is an Alle alle?" and "Why were fake lashes invented?".
