Safety zones on the Bürgenstock lifted

Following the end of the Ukraine peace conference, the security zones on the Bürgenstock in Nidwalden were lifted on Sunday evening.
This was done after the departure of the participants, who are protected under international law, according to an article published by the canton of Nidwalden on the X news portal on Sunday evening. Accordingly, there will no longer be any checks, and residents and visitors will no longer need access badges or vehicle stickers.
The conditional airspace closure over the Bürgenstock within a radius of 46.3 kilometers will be maintained until midnight, it said.
