Stefan Raab takes part in the German preliminary round of ESC 2025

TV presenter and entertainer Stefan Raab will help organize the German preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. As announced by Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) on Tuesday, Raab will take part in the national selection process together with broadcasters RTL and ARD.
According to NDR, the last time there was a cooperation between NDR and the private broadcaster RTL for the national preliminary round was in 2012, when the now 58-year-old Raab was also involved.
NDR did not initially provide any details on Tuesday regarding the organization of the national preliminary decision and Raab's role in it. According to a statement, the two broadcasters plan to announce these at a press conference at the Swiss Embassy in Berlin on Thursday. The ESC will take place in Basel in 2025.
