A Swiss couple died in a road accident in Italy on Sunday. The couple were riding their motorcycle on a highway near Piacenza when they were hit by an off-road vehicle.
This was reported by the Italian news agency Ansa on Sunday evening. The man and the woman - both around 60 years old - were thrown several meters away after the collision. They died at the scene of the accident, it said. The Italian police have launched an investigation.
