Arnaud Bédat, a Swiss journalist and author, has passed away at the age of 58. He was well-known for his investigative journalism, having worked for "L'Illustré" for many years. He was known for his research into significant events in recent history, such as the crash of Swissair Flight 111 in Halifax, Canada in 1998 and the Sonnentempler sect drama. He also wrote several books, including ones about the singer Jacques Brel and Pope Francis. Bédat died from an illness, according to sources close to the journalist. He will be remembered for his investigative work and his books.
