Winterthur police arrest suspected torch thrower

The police have arrested a suspected torch-thrower who is believed to have been involved in the riots in Winterthur on April 28. He is a 26-year-old Swiss national.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday in cooperation with the Geneva cantonal police, the Winterthur municipal police announced on Wednesday. The Servette fan has since been transferred to Winterthur. He was questioned by the police and handed over to the public prosecutor's office.
After the cup match between FC Winterthur and Servette FC on April 28, at least two Servette fans threw flares into the crowd. Two people were slightly injured.
