Wolves Rip Seven Alpacas in Glarnerland

On Sunday morning, wolves attacked a herd of 20 alpacas near Elm in Glarnerland, Switzerland. Seven of the animals were killed and two were injured. The attack occurred on a fenced pasture, and was reported by the Glarner government on Monday. According to the IG wolfsicherer Lebensraum, the alpacas were part of a herd of 20 animals. The attack has raised concerns about the safety of livestock in the area.
