Wrong-way driver causes accident on Zurich’s Pfingstweid Bridge

A wrong-way driver caused an accident on the Pfingstweid Bridge in Zurich on Tuesday afternoon. Several people were injured, according to Zurich city police.
The 44-year-old wrong-way driver collided with a passenger car on the bridge with his van, as the police wrote in a statement on Tuesday. Two other vehicles were damaged in the process.
The wrong-way driver and two other people involved in the accident had to be taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries, it was reported.
Traffic had to be diverted. The Zurich city police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
