Yello musician Boris Blank announces new album “Resonance”

Musician Boris Blank has announced a new album. "Resonance" will be released on February 16, 2024.
Blank's third studio album comprises twelve songs, according to a statement from Universal Switzerland. These were originally created as a commission for a thermal spa near Zurich designed by star architect Mario Botta.
Musically, the Zurich musician moves in a mixture of ambient, trance and electro. The twelve songs are intended to "provide wellness and relaxation with meditative sounds", as the press release states.
Blank founded the Swiss cult band Yello. In 2022, the Federal Office of Culture honored Blank and Yello colleague Dieter Meier with the Grand Prix Music. The prize is endowed with 100,000 Swiss francs and is one of the most prestigious awards in modern music. Meier and Blank were honored for their originality, their charisma and their significant influence on electronic music, as it was said at the time.
