The Zurich public prosecutor's office has decided to take renewed action against Brian Keller. It is currently investigating whether his threats on TikTok are relevant under criminal law.

These clarifications are based on ongoing police investigations, the public prosecutor's office said on Tuesday in response to an inquiry. They did not wish to provide any further details.

Keller is currently repeatedly drawing attention to himself with TikTok videos in which he threatens an apparently hated opponent. At the weekend, he then turned up outside the man's house and shouted loudly at him, triggering a police operation.

"Do you see this blade?"

To illustrate his threats, he published a TikTok video in which he poses with a knife and directly threatens his opponent. "Do you see this blade?" He wants his blood.

In another video, he holds an image of his own head from the 3D printer and also makes threats. "I want his head, I want to see him suffer." Keller insisted that this was just an advertisement for a boxing match.

At large for two months

Keller has been on the loose again for two months and is training for his lifelong goal of becoming a world champion boxer. He regularly posts videos of his training sessions on social media.

In November, the Dielsdorf district court sentenced the 28-year-old to 2.5 years' imprisonment for assault, among other things. This was triggered by several attacks on prison staff. However, the court did not consider it appropriate to continue his preventive detention. Keller, who had been in prison since 2016, was released two days after the verdict.
