Youth Escapee Caught in Canton of Vaud

A 16-year-old inmate of the closed educational centre Pramont in Granges VS was arrested in the canton of Vaud on Friday. On Wednesday night, he had escaped from the facility together with three other juveniles in a stolen vehicle. During the escape, the driver of the vehicle collided with several police cars that were trying to intercept him. The 16-year-old was handed over to the cantonal police of Valais for further proceedings, as announced by them on Friday. The three other inmates, aged 18, had already been arrested shortly after their escape on Thursday. In summary, four juveniles escaped from the closed educational centre Pramont in Granges VS on Wednesday night in a stolen vehicle. During the escape, the driver collided with several police cars that were trying to intercept him. The 16-year-old was arrested in the canton of Vaud on Friday and handed over to the cantonal police of Valais for further proceedings.
