Swiss to Fly to Four New Destinations in 2024

Swiss Airlines is expanding its network by adding two new long-haul destinations and two new European connections to its flight program from Zurich for the summer flight schedule of 2024. The new overseas destinations will be Washington D.C. in the US and Toronto in Canada, while the new European destinations will be Košice in Slovakia and Cluj-Napoca in Romania. The new overseas destinations will be flown with A330 aircraft, while the European destinations will be flown with A220 aircraft. Swiss Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Tamur Goudarzi Pour stated that the demand for flights is increasing and the flights are more full than ever. The flight program for 2024 will include 113 destinations. The airline also announced that its new A350 aircraft, which will be added to the fleet in 2025, will have 242 seats, including 3 in First Class, 45 in Business Class, 38 in Premium Economy Class and 156 in Economy Class. The number of seats in the Premium Economy Class is significantly higher than in the current aircraft, indicating that the airline is expecting an increased demand for this segment.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
