The Swiss Federal Council has proposed 13 supplementary credits to the Parliament in the amount of 241 million Swiss francs for the current year. The additional expenses are mainly due to the purchase of an aircraft for the air transport service, the federal asylum centers and a contribution to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The largest supplementary credit of 103.2 million Swiss francs is for the purchase of a new aircraft for the air transport service, which was decided by the Federal Council in August. Other larger supplementary credits concern the operating expenses of the federal asylum centers with 51.5 million Swiss francs due to the increasing number of asylum applications and a contribution of 50 million Swiss francs to the ICRC headquarters. In addition, two more supplementary credits are necessary for the fight against abuse of guarantees for Covid-19 loans (13 million Swiss francs) and for the ICT operating costs of the Federal Tax Administration (5 million Swiss francs).nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
