Eight Former Wallis National Councillors Re-elected

The Wallis region of Switzerland will maintain the same representation in the National Council following the elections on Sunday. The eight incumbents, three from the centre-right, two from the right-wing Swiss People's Party, one from the Social Democratic Party, one from the Free Democratic Party and one from the Green Party, were all re-elected. This result ensures that the Wallis region will continue to be represented by a diverse range of political parties in the National Council.
