Major police operation after dispute in the Bernese suburb of Ittigen

An altercation led to a major police operation in the Bernese suburb of Ittigen early on Friday morning. Even hours after the police operation, it was not clear what had happened.
The cantonal police media office had only confirmed this morning that the police were on duty due to a dispute in Ittigen. Further information should follow at some point, they said on request.
But even shortly before 5 p.m., it was still unclear what had happened in the early morning on Längfeldstrasse in Ittig. Online portals from "20Minuten" and "Blick" had reported in the morning that the police had erected a white tent at the scene of the crime, which could indicate that there was a fatality.
A photographer from the Keystone-SDA news agency took pictures of the apartment complex on Längfeldstrasse, where an argument had broken out in one of the apartments. A red stain could be seen on the balcony railing, which could be blood.
In the morning, a large contingent of police was deployed to Ittigen. Ambulances and a Rega team were also deployed.
