Ruag sells part of the site in Stans and Ennetbürgen to Pilatus

The military services provider Ruag is selling parts of its site in Stans and Ennetbürgen to the aircraft manufacturer Pilatus as part of a strategic partnership. No financial details of the deal were provided in Tuesday's announcement.
The sale will create an aviation industrial park that will enable the strategic further development of Ruag and Pilatus in the canton of Nidwalden. At the same time, Ruag will continue to provide repair and maintenance services for the Swiss Armed Forces in Stans, according to the statement.
Meanwhile, Pilatus will tackle new projects on the acquired part of the site. The two parties intend to develop the necessary infrastructure jointly and step by step.
