The editor-in-chief of the "Luzerner Zeitung", Jérôme Martinu, will be leaving the company at the end of 2023. The reason for this is a difference in strategic views, the daily newspaper announced on its online portal on Wednesday.
Martinu and CH Media, publisher of the newspaper, have agreed to terminate the contract, as the news article went on to say. The deputy editor-in-chief Christian Meier will take over the interim management.
Martinu worked for the "Luzerner Zeitung" for a total of 22 years. He has been editor-in-chief since 2016.
