Anti-WEF demonstrators cause mega traffic jam outside Davos GR

Around 300 anti-WEF demonstrators blocked the road near Davos Laret on Sunday afternoon. There was a traffic jam of over 18 kilometers.
The demonstrators kept to their authorized route, said Anita Senti from the Graubünden cantonal police when asked by the Keystone-SDA news agency on Sunday. When crossing the main road at Davos Laret, however, they had savored the increased visibility.
The section of road had to be closed for around an hour. The blockade was lifted shortly after 1 pm. The demonstrators then walked on to Davos Wolfgang station. There they had to take the train to Davos Platz. They plan to join the authorized Juso rally on Postplatz at around 3 pm.
The demonstrators set off on foot from Küblis GR to Davos on Saturday morning. Their criticism was directed at the high-ranking guests of the WEF.
