TREND: Canton Lucerne rejects 13th AHV pension

In the canton of Lucerne, a "no" to the 13th AHV pension is on the horizon. After 59 of the 80 municipalities were counted, the popular initiative launched by trade unions was rejected by 53.45% of voters.
The initiative launched by the Young Liberals for a higher retirement age is also unlikely to stand a chance, with only 26.87% of voters casting a yes vote so far.
