Railroad line from Ticino to the north open again after interruption

The Bellinzona TI - Erstfeld UR railroad line was reopened early on Easter Monday after an interruption. During the night of Easter Monday, operations on this route were suspended due to the risk of avalanches.
At 7.30 a.m., SBB announced on the Railinifo rail information service that the route from Lugano to Zurich and Basel was open again. The lines affected were IC2 (Lugano - Zurich), IC21 (Lugano - Basel), EC, IR26, IR46 and S10.
According to the press release, there was a risk of avalanches between the Ticino villages of Faido and Airolo.
