Another ATM was blown up in the canton of Neuchâtel at 4.32 a.m. on Thursday morning. A Postomat in Le Locle was affected. The Neuchâtel police confirmed a report by RTN to the Keystone-SDA news agency.
The Neuchâtel police are currently investigating, said the police communications officer. A statement would be sent out as soon as more information was available.
The region near the French border has been the victim of numerous explosive attacks on ATMs in recent months, including one in La Brévine NE ten days ago. The cantonal banks of Neuchâtel and Jura recently announced that they would be reducing the number of their ATMs due to the increasing number of attacks.
