Bern-based journalist Marc Lehmann will take over overall journalistic responsibility at Freiburger Nachrichten AG in November. This was announced by the company on Monday.
After two years in the communications industry, Lehmann is returning to his traditional area. He will take over the main editorial responsibility for the daily newspaper "Freiburger Nachrichten" as well as for the weekly newspapers "Der Murtenbieter" and "Anzeiger von Kerzers".
He will also drive forward the development of the new joint digital platform as part of the planned collaboration with Radio Fribourg. The three-person editorial team will remain in place, according to the press release.
Marc Lehmann, 54, has worked for the Avenir Suisse think tank for the past two years. He previously worked for SRF radio and television.
