Suspect arrested after attempted murder in Winterthur ZH

On Monday evening, a driver ran over a cyclist with his car after an argument and drove off. On Wednesday, the police arrested a suspect. He is a 27-year-old Swiss national.
The man has confessed to being the wanted driver, as the Zurich cantonal police announced on Thursday. Intensive investigations and a tip-off from the public led to his arrest. The investigation into the course of events is ongoing.
The cyclist was seriously injured in the incident on Monday evening. The dispute occurred at a red light on Frauenfelderstrasse.
