Man injured in shooting in Baden AG

One man was injured in a shootout early Saturday morning in Baden AG. A second man suspected of being involved in the shooting was arrested.
The police were alerted at around four o'clock in the morning, explained a spokesperson for the Aargau cantonal police in response to a report by the online portal blick.ch. "Several police patrols were deployed," the police spokesperson told the Keystone-SDA news agency.
The spokesperson went on to say that the officers encountered a man on the scene with a gunshot wound. A second man was arrested. The police are investigating whether he was involved in the exchange of gunfire. Police officers themselves did not fire any shots.
The man who was shot was transported to hospital. The police were unable to provide any further information about his condition.
