The airline Swiss will not be flying to Tel Aviv until September 24. This decision was taken after careful consideration of the situation in the Middle East, the airline announced on Thursday. The safety of passengers and crews has top priority.
The Lufthansa subsidiary is continuing to monitor the situation closely, the statement continued. Specialists are continuously evaluating all available information and are in constant contact with the authorities in Switzerland and locally. A decision on the resumption of flights will also be made on this basis.
Passengers can rebook their flights to a later date free of charge or receive a full refund of the ticket price. Swiss had already canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv for Wednesday and Thursday on Tuesday evening. Swiss had only resumed its flights there at the beginning of September after having suspended flights to Ben Gurion Airport since the beginning of August.
