Geneva does not reduce taxes for entrepreneurs

Taxes for entrepreneurs are not to be lowered in the canton of Geneva. According to provisional results, the bill will be rejected on Sunday with 58% of votes against.
The amendment to the law on the taxation of natural persons was intended to support the local economy. It was opposed by the left and trade unions in a referendum due to feared tax losses of CHF 30 million per year.
