Lausanne, Tradition Group has set a new benchmark in fiscal performance. With a revenue leap to CHF 1053.9 million, the group celebrates a 9.5% growth in constant currencies. According to a recent press release from the firm.

This surge is not just in revenue but also mirrors in a 17.1% rise in operating profit, hitting CHF 127.7 million, marking a robust margin of 12.1%. The Group’s share burgeoned to CHF 94.4 million, up by 15.9% in constant currencies, setting a new record

This financial triumph has propelled a proposed dividend increase of nearly 10% to CHF 6.00 per share, underscoring the group’s financial health and confidence.

The underpinnings of this success are manifold. A significant factor is the favourable market conditions in the energy and commodity sectors, coupled with the strategic expansion of TraditionData, the group’s market data commercialization arm.

Moreover, the normalisation of monetary policies and interest rate adjustments by central banks have created a conducive environment for the group’s interdealer broking business activities.

A strong capital position is complemented by a focus on low intangible assets and a sturdy net cash position, which was CHF 260.0 million at the end of 2023. The consolidated equity, pre-treasury shares accounting, was reported at CHF 453.5 million.

The upcoming Annual General Meeting on May 21, 2024, will be a platform for dividend payout proposals and the appointment of new board members, including Mr. Christophe Hémon. This meeting will also mark a pivotal transition as Mr. Eric Solvet steps into an executive role within the Group.

As a global titan in the interdealer broker domain, Tradition Group’s financial summary is a testament to its resilience and adaptability in the ever-evolving global financial landscape.
