Holcim Acquires Land Recovery To Boost Construction Efforts

Holcim acquires UK-based Land Recovery, aiming to boost circular construction and recycle 10 million tonnes of waste in 2024.

Holcim has acquired Land Recovery in the UK in a strategic move to advance circular construction laut einer Presseerklärung. This leading supplier of primary and recycled materials processes rail ballast and demolition materials into ready-mixed concrete, precast elements, and asphalt. With 85 employees, Land Recovery handled 300,000 tonnes of construction waste last year.

Miljan Gutovic, Holcim’s CEO, emphasized the significance of this acquisition, stating, “Land Recovery enhances our leadership in circular construction and helps us achieve our goal of recycling 10 million tonnes of construction waste in 2024. We are excited to welcome Land Recovery’s 85 employees and look forward to our shared growth.”

Land Recovery, established in 1982 by the Beecroft family, operates four facilities in the UK. This acquisition follows Holcim’s purchase of Sivyer Logistics last year.
