30 people evacuated after fire in Massagno TI

30 people were evacuated at midday on Friday due to a fire on the third floor of an apartment building in Massagno TI. One resident of the apartment had to be medically examined.
According to initial findings, the fire broke out shortly after 1.30 p.m. in the apartment on the third floor, reported the Ticino cantonal police. As a precautionary measure, 30 people were evacuated from the building. The street was closed for the fire-fighting work.
