Despite the move from Montreux to Lausanne, the Polymanga pop culture festival attracted 51,000 people, slightly more than in the last two years. For the first time, more than 1500 children under the age of nine came accompanied by their parents.

The Swiss event dedicated to Japanese, American and European pop culture is growing every year. The 2024 edition will cover 23,000 square meters in the Beaulieu Congress Center. That's 7,000 square meters more than last year.

The festival, which took place over the Easter weekend, allowed fans of pop culture to meet, share their passion and benefit from the numerous animations.

These visitor numbers definitely made Polymanga an event for young people, but also for families, the organizing committee was pleased to announce in a press release published on Sunday.

In the Artists' Hall, visitors could discover the work of 110 illustrators at their stands. Numerous shows and concerts took place. The next edition of Polymanga is planned for the Easter weekend from April 18 to 21, 2025.
