Accused calls meeting at Geuense petrol station a “trap”

The second day of the trial into the fatal altercation in Geuensee in 2021 began on Thursday morning at the St. Martin Center in Hochdorf LU. The questioning of the eight accused showed that they blamed each other for the incident.

Six of the eight people involved were already questioned by the judges of the Lucerne criminal court on Monday. On Thursday, the last two accused testified. For example, the man who had withdrawn from the deal with the other party due to a difference of opinion.

When he demanded a refund of the investment he had already made, he did not receive the full amount. He testified that the parties had wanted to talk at the petrol station in Geuensee. However, the other party had set a trap for them there.

During the fight in Geuensee, several people were seriously injured and one person was killed. One person is accused of intentional homicide, another of attempted intentional homicide.
