Blinken: USA and China will intensify talks

According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, China and the USA want to seek closer political contact this year.
Personal talks by top politicians are irreplaceable, especially when it comes to China, Blinken said on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos. "And I can imagine, I know you will see more of this in the coming year."
The aim will not only be to stabilize relations and communicate differences very directly so that there are no misunderstandings. It is also about "seeing whether, despite these differences, despite the intense competition, there are not also areas in which greater cooperation is in both parties' interests".
