Bus alpin achieves second-best result in its history

The Bus alpin association achieved the second-best result in its history in summer 2023 with 125,760 passengers transported. The passenger record was broken in six regions, as the association announced on Wednesday.
The record result of 2019 was only just missed, as Bus alpin reported. However, record figures were achieved in the Bergün-Albulapass (GR), Gantrisch (BE), Lenk-Simmental (BE), Pany-St. Antönien (GR), Val-de-Charmey (FR) and Züri Oberland (ZH) regions.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Bus alpin recently recorded a decline in passenger numbers. Bus alpin is an association for the development of tourist excursion destinations in Swiss mountain regions by public transport.
