Cashless payments at COOP stores disrupted throughout Switzerland

A glitch has made cashless payments impossible in COOP stores across Switzerland. Several of the supermarket chain's stores across the country were affected on Thursday evening; the fault affected electronic payments with cards and via Twint.
A COOP spokesperson confirmed reports from various online media to the Keystone-SDA news agency. He was unable to say how long the disruption would last. A solution is being worked on at full speed.
