Cause of fire in Wiggen LU still unclear

The cause of the fire in a farmhouse in Wiggen LU on Monday is still unclear. The police will actively provide information as soon as there is news, said Yanik Probst, media spokesman for the Lucerne police, at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency.
It is also not yet possible to identify the three bodies that have been recovered. The investigating authorities assumed on Monday that they were the three children who had gone missing after the fire.
The fire, in which the farmhouse burnt down completely, was reported to the police at 01:20 on Monday. Three adults were found by the emergency services in front of the burning house, two of whom were taken to hospital. The third person was slightly injured and received appropriate care.
