Center welcomes the Federal Council’s “sectoral approach”

The Center Party welcomes the Federal Council's intention to secure access to the EU internal market with new sectoral agreements. As part of the consultation process, it will work to ensure that Swiss wage levels and social security systems are protected by "effective safeguard clauses".
With this draft negotiating mandate, the Federal Council is moving forward as promised, the party wrote on the short messaging service X, formerly Twitter. For the center, it is crucial that the ranks in Switzerland are now closed and a broad-based consensus is reached.
