Cyclist dies after accident in Ticino

A 60-year-old cyclist from Ticino has died in hospital from the injuries she sustained in a fall in the municipality of Breggia TI on Monday. This was announced by the Ticino cantonal police on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Ticino cantonal police on Monday, the woman from the region was on a descent in the direction of Morbio Superiore. For reasons that remain unexplained, she fell to the ground and was seriously injured and taken to hospital by helicopter.
