Cyclist dies after collision with truck in Geneva

A 59-year-old cyclist was killed in a collision with a truck in Geneva on Friday morning. According to the police, this is the fifth fatality on Geneva's roads this year.
The man was riding on a cycle path when a truck traveling in the same direction turned right into a cross street. This resulted in a collision, according to the Geneva police. Despite rescue measures, the cyclist died at the scene of the accident. The public prosecutor's office launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
