Dangerous terrorist from Iraq remains in custody pending deportation

The Schaffhausen High Court has ruled that a terrorist threat from Iraq must remain in custody pending deportation. The man was convicted of involvement in the criminal organization Islamic State (IS), among other things.
The High Court based its decision, among other things, on the findings of the competent federal authorities, according to which the man posed a "serious threat to Switzerland's internal and external security".
