Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse evacuated due to abandoned suitcase

Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse was evacuated for a short time in the early hours of Friday afternoon due to a stray suitcase. The airport confirmed corresponding reports from "Blick" and "20 Minuten" to the news agency Keystone-SDA.
According to the airport, the security measures for unattended baggage followed a standard procedure.
The evacuation took less than an hour. The flight schedule was hardly affected. The airport bus route 50 was also only interrupted for a short time, according to the Basel transport company.
